CLASSES
Any of the following classes can be scheduled for individuals or small groups with up to four participants. Yarn Basket keeps classes small so that everyone gets plenty of attention. Intro to Knitting
Intro to Crochet
These classes span two sessions and introduce basic stitches and techniques. Materials are included. Fee: $40
Beginner Knitting
Beginner Crochet
These classes span four sessions, use basic stitches/techniques, and work on a simple project.
Fee: $60. Materials: Cost depends on participant selections.
BeginnerPLUS Knitting
BeginnerPLUS Crochet
These classes span four sessions, use basic stitches/techniques, introduce increasing/decreasing stitches, and work on a beginner/easy project.
Fee: $60. Materials: Cost depends on participant selections.
Mosaic Crochet Pillow
Create a seaside motif pillow cover using only single crochet (SC) and double crochet (DC) stitches.

Knitting
Emotional Support Chicken
Option A or Option B
Option A uses the “Emotional Support Chicken” pattern by Annette Corsino. This project is great for confident knitters. Fee: $75
Option B uses the free pattern “Chick” by Mama in a Stitch. This pattern is perfect for knitters who want an easy project. Fee: $40

Materials: Cost depends on participant yarns selections. Yarn Basket will provide poly-fil and scrap yarn for crest, wattle, eyes, and beak. Safety Eyes and button eyes available for purchase.

Aran Knit Sweater for Child or Adult
This class runs for ten sessions. It’s for the confident knitter ready to take the next step and learn some of these wonderful stitches. Choice of pullover or cardigan.

Sizing a Sweater
This class is for the knitter who is ready to commit to a sweater project and wants to create a well-fitting garment.
