This class has two options based on skill level.

Option A for experienced knitters will be led by instructor Wendy Kaminske. Participants will follow the original “Emotional Support Chicken” pattern by Annette Corsino. It is a 5-session class and the fee is $75, which includes pattern, poly-fil, and yarn for eyes, beak, crest, and wattle. Medium weight yarn (200 yds for main color; 100 yds for coordinating color), safety eyes or buttons, and US 7 needles can be purchased in the Shop or brought from home. Extra colors of Plymouth Yarn Encore Worsted and Encore Worsted Colorspun have been ordered for your convenience. Limit 4 participants. FMI, call the shop at 508-477-0858.

Option B for beginners is a 2-session class, led by Liz Dawes. Participants will follow the free “Chick” pattern by Mama in a Stitch. Fee is $40 which includes pattern, poly-fil, and yarn for eyes, beak, and crest. Super bulky yarn (1 skein), safety eyes or buttons, and 16-inch circular needles US 15 can be purchased in the Shop or brought from home.
