You are cordially invited to a presentation given by Ron Crusan, President of the Morris David Dorenfeld Foundation. Morrie Dorenfeld (1937-2023) was an American artist with an international reputation and a Cape Cod connection. He studied painting at the Chicago Art Institute. Eventually, Morrie designed and wove tapestries. Crusan will talk about the artist’s transition to fiber and display some of Morrie’s tapestries.

Here’s the special part. Yarn Basket has the artist’s yarn, which will be available for purchase at the event with proceeds going to the foundation. Morrie used Briggs & Little “Atlantic” in his tapestries. His stash will be at Yarn Basket which means that you will have the chance to use An Artist’s Yarn to complement your fiber creations.
